Support our Startups

The Amazing Entrepreneur contest supports and promotes startups in Gwinnett County. Your sponsorship will not only help create an entrepreneurial culture in the community, but will also expose new business owners to products and services as they make first-time decisions regarding which vendors they should bring in as partners. Gwinnett Chamber Economic Development is committed to funneling as much of your cash sponsorship to the winners as possible. After covering expenses and administration of the contest, all cash contributions will be used as prizes for contestants.

Crowd Funding
If you would like to contribute a nominal sum to help our contest winners start their businesses, click here. This link will take you to a page where you can donate a little cash that will go straight into the prize fund. All proceeds collected this way will directly go into the hands of the contest Winner and Finalists.

If you contribute $100 or more, you and/or your organization will be listed on our donor page along with a link to your website and we will Tweet to our community that you’re a Crowd Funding donor. You’ll also receive an invitation to the Contestant Reception where the Finalists are named.

Platinum Sponsor — $3,000

  • Your company representative will sit on the Grand Prize Selection Committee
  • Company name and logo included on the event promo slide of Gwinnett Chamber lobby monitors during 4-week promotional period
  • Company name featured on e-program announcement distributed to 1500+ business and industry leaders
  • Opportunity to distribute promotional material/collateral to all contestants and a three-minute commercial at your choice of an Entrepreneur Council meeting or event (SCORE Business Plan workshop or Contestant Reception)

Prize Donors

This special category is for sponsors who would like to offer in-kind prizes for Finalists and the Grand Prize Winner. Prizes are subject to review by the Selection Committee prior to acceptance. Prize donors will receive benefits as follows:

  • Invitation to the Contestant Reception where finalists will be named

Contestant Reception Food Sponsor — SOLD to Bahama Breeze

The Amazing Entrepreneur Contest features an invitation-only Contestant Reception bringing sponsors and contestants together for an evening of networking and fun. Finalists will be announced and the audience will participate in a live vote for a new category, “Most Likely to Succeed.” The food sponsorship for this event is $500 or restaurants or caterers may provide the food for the event. The sponsor may bring marketing material to the Reception to display. Additionally, the Food Sponsor’s logo will appear on the Contestant Reception page of the Contest website.
